Sameer from the small town of Moradabad moved to the city of dreams - Mumbai - in 2004 to pursue his dream of becoming one of India's most renowned hair artists. All he had was a survival instinct and a fiery desire to treat his gifted inheritance creatively which he had acquired from his father as an adolescent.

Sameer leapt to prominence in the Indian grooming industry as well as in the entertainment industry. He is updated with the contemporary trends worldwide and his uninterupted passion allowing him to carve out a place for himself.
He founded his own salon, "Sameer Salmani The Artist," located at Bandra, Mumbai, in the year 2020. The dream materialised and swiftly attained its recognition.
